How does the CAF promote research?

Trust us with your pain: Together we promote research in fasciopathies
CAF Research Unit: promoting clinical and scientific evidence on fasciopathies
The CAF has a research unit led by Dr. Marta CaƱis Parera, Dr. Carles Greoles, and nurse Susana Serrano. This unit collects patient data to generate clinical evidence on fasciopathies and treatment responses. Thanks to our specialisation, we gather detailed information about this little-known condition.
The information obtained is used to design clinical trials in collaboration with the Fasciopathies Research Foundation, aiming to expand the scientific evidence. In the short term, we will prepare studies to better understand fascial tissue and develop more effective treatments, as well as preventive strategies to improve patients’ quality of life.
Collaboration with the Fasciopathies Research Foundation to advance research
At CAF, we are committed to advancing research on fasciopathies, which is why we allocate 2% of the profits from each consultation to the Fasciopathies Research Foundation (FRF). Thus, with every visit, you not only improve your health but also contribute to developing solutions for chronic pain.
The Fasciopathies Research Foundation, with its commitment to spreading knowledge about fasciopathies, investigates the causes of this disorder and seeks new ways to understand it. Who knows, maybe in the future we will develop preventive treatments to avoid these conditions. Together, we can improve the quality of life for many people.
