Her dedication has led her to specialise in the characterisation of lumbar fibrofatty tissue and its relation to lumbar fasciopathy, an area she has deepened through her doctorate at Rovira i Virgili University. Ana Cortés is a nurse with more than fourteen years of experience in hospital, primary, and community care. She has worked in palliative care, complex chronic patients, and home care, consolidating her clinical and coordination skills to provide comprehensive and personalized care.
She is currently a therapist at CAF Sabadell, where she has enthusiastically joined the project and the PMS® Technique. With a holistic view of the patient and a strong vocation for the humanization of care, she brings both experience and passion to advance in the management of chronic pain.

Carolina is a nurse with 19 years of experience across various care settings, including long-term care, ATDOM, home hospitalization, and emergency services. She is specialized in chronic care and palliative care, and has always worked with a person-centred approach, which has made her a reference in patient safety and quality of care.
She is currently part of the CAF team, where she has trained in the SMP Technique. True to her vocation for caring and helping others, she enjoys accompanying patients, seeing their progress, and witnessing how the SMP Technique can relieve pain without medication and with minimal discomfort. Her rigorous approach to continuous improvement contributes to the development of practices based on scientific evidence. Additionally, she promotes ongoing training for healthcare staff and actively participates in research, presenting scientific work at emergency and hospital management conferences.
